Blocked RAM due to stopping of cycle level
A description of this resolution:
- Reset/stop of the operator station
A reset/stop of the operator station is necessary to release the RAM and files respectively.
When using AAKOMP tool cycle levels may stop themselves. If a long ('endless') program is running on these levels the latter cannot be restarted (FUNCTION ALREADY ACTIVE).
Set OFF-SCAN function and perform KILL of levels. As far as possible, do not use AAKOMP tool!
'Blocked RAM due to stopping of cycle level' resolves the following:
If parameters are to be changed by configuration dialog, for instance of recipe, control the operator station must be stopped. Otherwise, message CYCLE ACTIVE appears.
Stopping the cycle level is not permitted since this does not release the RAM.
The underlying cause is:
- Handling error
