DCP10 after power interruption – CN 37-082 EN
- To re-initialize the DCP10 carry out the following steps:
- Insert a live battery in the DCP10. Switch off the power to the station. Set the rack ID on the link module DLMxx to position 'F'. Switch the power back on. Reset the DCP10. Wait 1 minute. Switch off the power. Set the rack ID of the link module to the original position. Switch the power back on. Reset the DCP10.
This will correct the problem. Ensure that a live battery is always inserted in theDCP10, or that the battery is never removed for more than 20 minutes.
The problem does not occur in Version V6.1 and higher and is corrected with the ServicePacks V5.1SP4 and V5.2SP2.Problems

If the power supply to a DCP10 is switched off for a longer period (approx. 30 min. andlonger) and a battery is not connected or it is dead, the following problem may arise:
- Once the power supply is switched on, the DCP10 does not restart. The initialization of the DCP10 stops at the self-test.
This is visible on the Failure LED. At the diagnostics terminal only '
The problem can occur with all hardware indices.
