Tracking mode of step controllers - CN 37-063 EN
In case this behaviour is not desired, you can choose between two fundamentalworkarounds:
- Limitation of tracking inputs OTA and OTM between 0.001% and 99.999% (values are examlpary for a range near to maximal range)
By this solution, the end positions might not be reached completly. To avoid this situation, you can reduce the scale of the external feedback (FB).
This workaround is only practicable with the FB input connected. Limitation of the activation time of outputs ON and OP (e. g. by using the TONOF function block).
Threrefore the maximal time for setting ON and OP ist configurable.
By this solution, the operator cannot notice the switching off of outputs ON and OP by observing the controller faceplatte.
This workaround is practicable without FB input connected.
The tracking behaviour of the step controllers C_SUand C_SR has changed from version V2.x toversion V3.x.
To ensure the achievement of the end positions fully closed and fully opened duringtracking, the outputs ON or OP are set permanently while the tracking inputs OTA or OTMare set to 0.0% or 100%.
There is no runtime monitoring during tracking mode, so that the outputs ON and OP are notreseted automatically.
The described behaviour exists in the Freelance 2000 versions V3.1 and V3.2.
