Impossible to load a resource
- Extend or restructure the memory
There are various areas for storing data in thememory of the CPU. In order to find out which of them is allocated, the following systemvariables must be monitored during the loading procedure (display them in the valueswindow):
xxxx.RAMFree (xxxx = resource name)
If the value of RAMFree drops to 0, the PRAM in the boot parameter mask of the resourcemust be reduced. This will increase the area for RAM data.
The number of objects is another performancelimit. The number of free objects can be checked in the project under System- Show all objects.
If this number is almost 0, the maximum number of objects can also be increased in theboot parameter mask. This will, however, reduce the PRAM.
If you make such changes to the boot parametermask, you must then always load the entire resource!
- General system information
It is not possible to load a process station, an FC or an AC 800F (hereinafter referred to collectively as resources).
The message appears 'At least one load operation failed. Look in the event log file for details'.
- No more memory available
The event log file is the application protocol of Windows NT. If you select this file in the event of an error and find that the aborted loading procedure is accompanied by the information '…NO MEM…', the loading procedure could not be completed as there was insufficient memory available.
