Change of channel on the operator station
- Attention must be paid to the box allocation when changing channels
The boxes are allocated when changes are made to the channels with regard to Floppy/ConLink.After commissioning, determine the channel allocation. No further changes are mades and the subsequent problem does not occur. Please have any changes made by the ABB Service Team.When the channel allocation is changed, check and, if necessary, correct the box allocation.After STOP/START on the station, the reserved RAM is re-released.
When channels are changed on the operator station, the following RAM problem message appears:RAM REQUEST NOT SUCCESSFUL (BASIC ERROR)

When 24 boxes are entered in the floppy channel, approx. 17 KB of free RAM are constantly reserved. The standard entry is two boxes.
