Blockage of a CL due to virtual operator access
A description of this resolution:

Remedying the error
Activating the “Remove/Plug-in switch” on the PCZ 10 module of the blocked network coupler L (first HOLD, then RUN) will initialize the communication cell in the BM. In the case of a redundant network coupler, the same also goes for the passive module.
Avoiding the error
After selecting a function for central operation, wait until the operator display has been successfully completed before selecting another function.
'Blockage of a CL due to virtual operator access' resolves the following:
- Operator Station
If a non-operable function is “clicked” immediately after another function is selected for central operation, any further operation on a network coupler may be blocked.
The structure of the virtual operator header appears as normal, but the CO code is not set.
Operator commands are not passed on to CE.
Any attempt to select a function in the CL for which the function clicked second was configured is rejected with the message OPERATION FROM OTHER OP.
The underlying cause is:
- Cell in buffer memory not released
When the second function is called up following a request by the central operation of another function, this second function is entered in the communication cell between 'Operation' and the operable functions in the BM of the CL for which this second function was configured.
This cell in the BM is only checked by the functions which are centrally operable and specific to CE: it is deleted if it is found to conform.
If the function clicked second is, however, not centrally operable, the cell in the BM is not released and any subsequent selection for 'central operation' in this CL is blocked.
