Loading programs with simulation takeover
A description of this resolution:
- Start program in test RAM
Load the program to the test RAM in multi-batch mode and start it there. Then copy the program to the EEPROM using the function "Start, Stop, Transfer".
"Loading programs with simulation takeover" resolves the following:
When programs are loaded in the multi-batch mode and simulations already exist, the processing of all programs can be stopped.
CMX 40 user programs are not processed;
If the CMX 40 contains an I/O configuration, the following diagnostic message is generated: PU-Transm. FIFO disturb./P-bus
It is not possible to set up a data path via the A-bus to the CMX 40.
The underlying cause is:
- Timing problem when data is transferred
When a user program with simulation takeover is transferred, all user programs are stopped briefly so that data can be correctly transferred to the EEPROM. This can lead to a timing problem with the result that the processing of user programs does not start up again.
