Bit selection of binary alphanumerics
- If a bit selection is desired for an alphanumeric, then it may not be logged first at a binary output
The affected alphanumeric must be logged at a module with the desired data type beforehand (insert dummy module if necessary).
Then the bit selection can be inserted. Following this the alphanumeric can be logged at any desired module. The dummy logging can now be deleted again.
- Service Station
No bit selection possible for binary alphanumerics.
The variable type of an alphanumeric depends on the module at which this alphanumeric was logged the first time. If, for example, this occurs at a binary input or output, then this alphanumeric is automatically of the 'binary' type.
- In the case of a binary alphanumeric no bit-selection access is possible, as in the case for real alphanumerics.
