Separation of a CMX 40 pair
A description of this resolution:
- The procedure is dependent upon the system package used.
From system package 3.01 a separation can only take place by delinking both units and then relinking an individual unit:
Connect service station with the main unit (main unit must be active) or generate data path to it.
Carry out software EPI with service-station EPI function with function key F2 (without setting up the EPC-DB again).
Delink the functional unit by using the SES system structuring function.
Remove redundant unit from the cabinet.
Carry out hardware EPI of the pulled unit with ‘EPI connector’.
Change the system structure by using the SES system structuring function.
Relink the remaining unit by using the SES system structuring function.
Add all alphanumerics of the unit.
Add the I/O configuration non-change-driven.
Load all operator programs of the unit and compile, link and load altered programs if necessary.
Generate data path for all alphanumerics with the SES coupling run function.
"Separation of a CMX 40 pair" resolves the following:
Procedure for the conversion of a redundant CMX pair into two non-redundant CMXs.
