Loading retrofitted P-cards
- In this case, loading of the I/O configuration must be change-driven.
If the function 'Partial Loading (corresponding to hardware)' is used when retrofitting new P-cards, the full function of the P-cards and the CMX is not ensured.
All values sent from the CMX into the P-card are missing (e. g. centralized operation is not possible). It is also possiblethat not all measured values sent to the CMX by the P-card are available in the CMX. This can be recognized by the fact that the related alphanumerics are missing in the CMX.
This problem only occurs when the configuration data for this P-card are already contained in the loaded and running I/O configuration program, but the card was not plugged in and linked until a later time.
- Certain CMX data are not taken into consideration
The function ‘Partial Loading (corresponding to hardware)’ exclusively processes the data which must be loaded into the P-card. The following data, which belong in the CMX, are not taken into consideration:
- New alphanumerics for the CMX All related P-bus routings for this CMX All signal processing modules belonging to this P-card (e. g. also limit value detectors).
