Graphic Editor - Data type of an alphanumeric
- After deleting the incorrect module, this program version must be loaded.
The initloader then deletes the temporarily saved entry from the program. After this the same alphanumeric can be entered with the correct data type.
The handling is awkward, but cannot be implemented in any other manner for safety reasons.
- Service Station
If an alphanumeric is accidentally noted in an incorrect input/output module (wrong data type), this module is then deleted, the correct module inserted and the same alphanumeric noted again, the wrong data type cannot be changed with this measure.
The error can be recognized from the error message:„Wrong data type'
or from the automatic assignment of the bit selection ‚B00‘.
The problem only occurs in an I/O configuration when this is already loaded and now a new program version is processed.
- The Initloader cannot delete the wrong information.
A deleted alphanumeric must be temporarily saved in the I/O configuration for the initloader so that it can transfer the information to the hardware.
