CMX 40 - Stop of a task with GCM
Problem:Solution
- Set all GCMs to the status STOP
Before a program or a task with a running GCM is stopped (i.e. also before the function ‘Program load / copy’ or ‘Program start / stop / transfer test RAM <-> ROM’), all GCMs present in this program must be set to the status STOP via the Central Control Unit.
- Busnetwork
Malfunctions occur in the user program if a task or a program containing a GCM has been stopped beforehand.
For example, a command of the input program may still exist when the output program is started.
- Operation failure
If a program or task is stopped in which a GCM is running or has reached the final position in the input or output program, the command last output remains existant when the corresponding variable is located in the NV-RAM or is an alphanumeric, even if the GCM is restarted later.
