CMX 40 - Deleting a source alphanumeric
- A deleting procedure with the described marginal conditions may only be carried out for signals uncritical to the process.
An alphanumeric is produced within a CMX module at a function block output (source alphanumeric) and used at a function block input (sink alphanumeric).
Now the source alphanumeric is to be deleted, but not the sink alphanumeric (because for example, this alphanumeric is to be produced in another step in a different CMX module).
If a valid measured value was saved for this alphanumeric as the last value before deleting, the this value remains unchanged in this unit and is not set to invalid. If the measured value is routed to a P-card or via the modem interface, the measured value last transmitted to there also remains unchanged there.
- The deleted souce alphanumeric continues to be used as a sink
After deleting the source alphanumeric, the status of the alphanumeric will be changed from source to sink while loading the program into this CMX (and not, for example, the alphanumeric deleted), as the alphanumeric continues to be used as a sink.
The sink alphanumeric belonging to the measured value is not set to invalid during loading, as it is already designated as assigned in the alphanumeric list.
