Active/passive LED display
Problem:Solution
- Observe the symptoms
The manifestation described under "Problem" must be observed if a card is to be pulled out or reset.
- Automation
In the case of a P-bus failure, a redundant P-card (e.g. CAR11, CAA10) does not signal its actual status (active/passive) via the green LED on the front panel, but instead the status it had before the failure.
Example:
If the P-bus has failed, a redundancy switch-over of the P-cards takes place. In this case, the "Active" LED of the now-active P-card remains dark and that of the now-passive card remains on.
- No redundancy in the case of a P-bus failure
In the case of a P-bus failure, balancing between the redundant cards (CAR11) is no longer possible.
