'AC 800M Controller Firmware, versions 3.2/4, 3.2/7 - Backup PM864 erroneously stopped' resolves the following:
- AC 800M Controller Firmware, versions 3.2/4, 3.2/7 - Backup PM864 erroneously stopped
A backup PM864 CPU may erroneously be stopped.
The problem is only present when using PM864 in a redundant configuration and if TB840, connected to the PM864 optical modulebus, is of revision PR:J or later. The probability for the problem to happen increases with a lower number of used TB840.
The red 'F' LED on the backup CPU will be lit when the CPU is stopped. A system alarm will also automatically be generated.
The primary CPU will continue to control the process; but the CPU redundancy will be disabled.
Note that there are restrictions of the use of TB840 less than PR:J; see table 2 in release notes 3BSE 021 377D327.
