Extending Logical Volumes for IMS While the station is running, record it's logical volumes and mount points.First record your systems logical volume size. This should be recorded in the project data manual. You will need to know the lvol number of the volume to be extended.To extend the logical volumes using /var as an example, do a 'shutdown -y 0'.Then use the command 'lvextend -L 100 /dev/vg00/lvol8'(use bdf to see which logical volume /var is, and where 100 is the size to extend by) Then the command 'extendfs /dev/vg00/rlvol8'.(note the extendfs logical volume is rlvol8. Command will complain about character file if lvol8 is used)For other logical volumes, the volume may need to be 'umount /
