Graphics containing TCL Recipe Item references fail in the Display Converter
- Upgrade to OS1.6/1p1
The problem occurs because TCL Recipe's consist of attributes from 2 different 'Object' types - TCL_RECIPE_ITEM andTCL_S_REC_ITEM / TCL_I_REC_ITEM / TCL_R_REC_ITEM.
The TCL_RECIPE_ITEM object owns the RCPDESC and ENGU attributes.
The TCL_S_REC_ITEM object owns the SVALUE attribute.
The TCL_I_REC_ITEM object owns the IVALUE, LO_I, and HI_I attributes.
The TCL_R_REC_ITEM object owns the RVALUE, LO_R, and HI_R attributes.
If a graphic contains references to attributes from each object, the display convert will fail. In the Bayer France case, theyhave graphics which reference SVALUE and RCPDESC. The display converter assigns an 'object type' to that recipe itembased on the low level attribute (the SVALUE in this example), and the RCPDESC reference then fails.
This error is fixed in OS1.6/1p1, to be released in Aug '98.
