Setting up permissions to acknowledge diagnostics in a multiple area environment
It is not apparent what the permission of what object is needed to be able to acknowledge the diagnostic. What you can do is to find out what the security associated with the object of the diagnostic is. To do this you would right click on the diagnostic, choose Details and look at the permissions tab. If you then highlight Operate, you will see how the security is evaluated. In this case you would see that the user does not have operate permission.
If you would create a security definition on an object that generates a diagnostic, giving it operate ane read permissions and extending to only that object, you would be able to acknowledge diagnostics originating from that node.
If you now try to acknowlege a diagnostic for CS01, the user can then acknowlege this diagnostic. If you look at the secutity evaluation for a diagnostic concerning CS301 you would then have
If you add security definitions on each node that can generate a diagnostic, the operator could then acknowledge all of the diagnostics. You can also be selective as to which nodes he can acknowledge the diagnostics of.
