PNSM Library Asset (Dell R710 V1.2 Device) System Global Status Asset Monitor does not work
We are loading the PNSM asset monitors for the Dell R710 servers. Our system is SV5.1 Rev A 64-bit running on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64-bit. We are using the PNSM Base library V1.15.
We are experiencing problems with version V1.2 of the Dell Poweredge R710 device library (2PAA105767-0001_C_en_System_800xA_PNSM_Library_Asset_for_Dell_Poweredge_R710_V
1.2). The System Global Status Asset Monitor does not connect / report.
Description
The library loads fine and there is no trouble creating monitors for each of our servers. Once created, the System Global Status Asset Monitor does not work...the Quality Status stays at badLastKnownValue, and the message 'Signal' Input Record status: 'Add Item Failed' is displayed.
The Device Connection Asset Monitor works fine. The ControlConnection aspect works, and I can successfully subscribe to live data and see a good result. The AssetMonitorProperties aspect indicates a Bad quality for a number of the System Global Status.State.x attributes. Please see the attached screen captures.
Please note that version V1.1 of this library works perfectly. The issue above is only with version V1.2. I can repeat the problem every time I use the V1.2 library. The problem goes away every time I use the V1.1 library.

Answers
The name of the Data Source Item for the Signal ID on system was M600. (Design defect) Changing the name to R710, resolved the issue.
