Red Triangles on Hardware tree in Control Builder for AC800M using Redundant I/O modules
On the hardware configuration they have a CI854 on the profibus with 3 CI840 clusters and they are only able to communicate with the cluster that is addressed as 2. Any cluster addressed as 3 and 4 they get a system down error. They can switch the addressing and the clusters but can still only communicate with the cluster addressed as 2. The controller is a PM861
In the Control Builder, red triangles found on the controller hardware treeSymptoms:
Default Configuration Redundancy Setting for AI845 and AO845 is set to true. If this unit is placed in positions 7 and higher in the CI840 cluster, all the hardware including the AC800M controller and the CI840 stays red in the Control Builder tree and does not go on line. However, by changing this setting to false, will work fine.
1> This Redundancy setting must be left to "True", if redundancy in I/O Modules is used. In this case no more than 6 pairs of I/O modules (Total 12 I/O modules) should be used in a cluster.
2> This Redundancy setting must be changed to "False", if redundancy in I/O Modules is not used. In this case no more than 12 I/O modules should be used in a cluster.
