Modbus TCP/IP in Bailey Infi90
Dear Mr. Murphy,
I want you to know how much I appreciate your kindly response. With your help I get a clear view of how the TCP/IP capability can be added to a Bailey Infi90 system.
Our 3 rd Party systems support redundant Modbus TCP/IP communication. We have two 3 rd Party systems which must be connected through redundant ModbusTCP/IP communication to our Bailey Infi90. You can find it in the SystemConfiguration.png file I have attached before. In other words I have been forced to use two switches to implement redundant configuration.
Thank you for comment on Tag license, for both options 3000 points license must be selected.
Best Regards
Alimard

With regards to the redundant ModbusTCP/IP communication link between the 3rd Party system and INFI 90, do the redundant links from the same box carry the same IP address or different IP addresses as this could make a difference in the implementation. The reason I ask is like the BRC410's redundancy, when communicating with the BRC410, it must have the IP address that is defined in the data table.
When you have time can you provide a more detailed digram of the solution that you are attempting to implement, specifically the connection from the third-party devices as I have some concerns/questions about the redundancy.
Out of curiosity, have you had a chance to look at the BRC410 manual and the HGS800 software manual?
By the way, just curious, are you an end user, a system integrator or are you with ABB?
