Your Previous question regarding Trend Lines not appearing on Client Nodes
I read an earlier question you had regarding Trends not appearing on Client Nodes with red status' but they do appear OK on the Server.
I have the same issue on a project i have installed at site. i dropped the Client from the system and dropped it from the Domain and then readded the client. Tjhis did not solve the problem. I plan to reboot the server to see if this fixes the issue. This system is installed in a plant, so rebooting is not an easy task.
Did you ever resolve your issue and how was it solved?
If the trend problem is local to one particular client (trends OK on other clients) I would check affinity set on the Basic History service - server missing? Be sure to end all affinity rows with "All nodes" to prevent denial of access due to affinity.
Deleting and reinserting nodes is a perfect way of messing up affinity (using node groups can abate this a little bit; always remember to check this after adding a node).
Secondly, check that the client's hosts file is properly listing all server nodes. The RNRP Setup Wizard can be used to refresh the hosts file locally or globally.
Depending on system version firewall may need adjustment. In 5.1 use firewall wizard on product media. In 6.0 addition of Basic History service must be done from SCC, not Service Structure. SCC will adjust the firewall automatically.
