800xA PG2 graphic user access

Normally, you set permission on objects and process graphics will only enable input if write permission is met.
If no write permission has been set, the system will default to "Operate*". The asterisk hint that empty/default write permission is in effect.
In a default system, the Operate permission is held by users member of the group with a similar name, "Operators".
PG2 contains functions that return user name and groups/roles. Hence, it is possible to control the Input Enabled property of eg a Push Button or Input Field control by making a simple string comparison.
However, I recommend using the first method - set permission on the object and the rest will follow automatically. The second method gives little security as eg calling a faceplate, etc will display an inherited graphic where input is still enabled.
