RTA PU410
hi stefan
i have a redundunt MB300 control network consisting of 2 controllers AC450 and 1 Safeguard controller and 10 OS500 working under Unix and all of them are connected to a redundant ethernet switchs.
i have also a laptop with Control Builder A 1.2 (online Builder Version 3.0) acting as an engineering station with PU516 Engineering Board.
so my question is that i need replace the old PU516 with the New PU410?
Also can i connect the laptop to RTA PU410?or i will need another version of the control builder (online builder)?
Also is it right that i connect the Laptop through a TWP cross cable to the PU410 and Connect the PU410 to the control network Switch through TWP Straight network cable?
Best Regards

The support for PU410 came with CBA 1.3/0. Older versions only handle EISA/PCI RTA boards.
The most recent CBA is 1.4/0 which also support Windows 8/Server 2012; I believe EISA support ended with 1.3/1.
The CBA - PU410 connection is made with crossover cable at 100 Mbit/s and full duplex while PU410 - MB300 is straight cable and 10 Mbit/s and half duplex.
