Auto blocked alarm (ABL)
I have a problem regarding the alarm autoblocking function (800xA v5.1, FP4, rev D). So, when an alarm is triggered, my graphic item doesn't show it until I confirm autoblocked alarm on a faceplate.
I have searched the manuals and I couldn't find it how to do it, so does anyone know how to disable this auto block function (alarm state ABL)?
Thanks in advance,

For AC 800M, there is a setting in Control Builder M, I believe on the "0" hardware unit which control the number of alarm transitions needed to enter Auto Disabled. It can be disabled in 5.1 firmware but was previously hardcoded to 3.
Graphics can detect the Auto Disabled state via OPC DA (Alarm Global Properties:AlarmState) and be configured to give visual indication.
Sorry, I dont understand what you mean by "Confirm Autoblocked on a faceplate"
The triangle Alarm icon on the top right of the faceplate is used to Acknowledge an active alarm. It doesnt matter if the Alarm is ABL or not, the icon just acknowledges the alarm.
Are you sure your graphic item is connected to the correct properties to drive the alarm handling colors or indications ?
<Object>:Alarm List:IsUnack = Object has an unacknowledged alarm
<object>:Alarm List:IsAlarm = Object has an active acknowldged alarm
You can also use the Alarm Global Properties Aspect
<Object>:Alarm Global Properties:IsAlarmActive
<Object>:Alarm Global Properties:IsAlarmActive_Descendants
I can give the ABL information from AC800M controller point of view.
Default Auto Disable Alarm comes when you activate-Deactivate the process alarm (i.e. user defined alarm) for 3 times, without acknowledgement.
The number 3 comes from CPU parameter (Controller), AE Limit Auto Disable. If you change the value to 0, then there is no limit. So you wont get ABL (auto disables alarm) for process alarm generated on that controller.
Hope it helps.
