MicroSCADA 3rd Party IEC61850 Integration
Hello eveybody ,
I am new on this forum and I have a problem that 3rd party 61850 relay integration to MicroSCADA application . I have a SEL relays as a 3rd party.
I followed methodology as I write on below side :
1-SEL CID is exported from 3rd party 61850 configuration tool that name is AcSELerator Architect ,
2-SEL CID is imported to PCM600 ,created Client1 and defined Client-Server mechanism for MicroSCADA then SCD file is exported from PCM600,
3-IEC61850 OPC Server which is CET is configured (There is a one problem is here the relay is not reporting )
4-MicroSCADA SCL importer for the importing SCL file I showed SCD file which is exported before PCM600,I can see the IED but did not see LDs,
Is there anybody faced the similar problem before or how can I integrate the 3rd party 61850 relay and communicate over MicroSCADA?

Though IEC61850 is very definitive standard, vendors still have little room to interpret it in their own way. SEL Architect tool is one such example where not all possibilties of IEC61850 standard are implemented.
You need to export the CID files of ABB relays and import them in SEL Architect. Importing SCD in Architect is not supported in best possible way.
As per IEC standard single SCD file should be importable in every tool. but when its SEL you might have to use two.
In my experience all the problems happen during integration stage. Once it is operational SEL relays are robust. SEL IEDs are good but not their tools.

Hi,
I tried a similar integration on 800xA. I imported the CID files of each relay on CET and post the CID import delete the report enabled below the each RCB and should start communicating.
