800xA Batch Cient
We have a 800xA 5.1 with redundant servers and redundant newtwork.
The clients only get connection with batch system if it has both ethernet cables connected.
All services are running ok and batch recipes and equipments works perfectly from servers or clients with both ethernet cables.
¿What can be the problem?
So Everything is working properly, but only the Batch Status Tray indicator on the client shows a problem ? - That sounds correct, you have a fault in the redundant network. A faulty status in the Tray icon indicates an issue communicating between the operator station clients and the batch server.
Or nothing works, tray icon shows a fault, cannot start batches, can't load recipe values to phases etc ? - If you cannot aquire equipment, start phases etc, then this is quite different and indicates that the Batch Server cannot communicate with the 800xA AC800M OPC Server properly (or if you are using a different controller, the OPC server for that controller). Check your RNRP setup, especially on your Batch server(s) and try running an OPC Test Client on the Batch Servers.
