Wire break monitoring variable
I'm wanting to display an alarm variable within a graphic display within Freelance Operations (Digivis) and display them on the screen as seperate inputs.
Other than the top level alarm (S3) is there a way of pulling the data out as individual BOOL's and displaying / retransmitting?
I've looked through the documentation and nothing is jumping out at me, any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Jason

Hi Atki,
I'm not sure what do You mean by "display alarms as separate inputs", but there is a animated object called "Message type symbol". You can use it to display different alarms on FRG (Graphic Displays). Moreover many of the standard function blocks have a BOOL type output pin, that gives state of the alarm and can be transmitted. If You give more details, we can decide what solutions would be the best in Your case.
Hope this helps,
Mike
Hello Jason,
As mike replied there some possible ways but we need more information what exactly you are looking for, is it process alarm or system alarm ?
What I understood from question title and description you are looking for some monitoring and alarm for IO channel/modules (S700 I/O modules ?), If so in S700 IO modules we have diagnosis tab you can use those pins(assign to variables) use STA value compare and generate bool output and connect it to MBIN to generate alarm. Also s700 FB available under export folder have Bool pin for under range and over range value to generate alarm. Check images below...
AI723F analog module diagnosis tab
S700_AI FB uR/oR pins
Hope that helps, if not please give us more details to help you...
