Suddenly one of my operator workplace closed
I am having three operator workstations and all of a sudden one of my operator workplace closed and when I re-open that operator workplace it opened fine but when I open a motor faceplate it displayed Invalid Alarm License, also I have found the alarm list is empty i.e.there are no alarms.
What I have done is I have again closed the workplace and opened it again surprisingly there was no problem.
What could be the problem can any one tell me what made the operator workplace to suddenly close on its own.

hello,
Check the system alarm list and system event list may be ur alarm manager crashed.
Is it alarm problem for single workplace or for all?
Whats the system version running?
Try check the workplace license available in license entry & do the force license cycle.
Please take screenshot of license error and upload to AKS - a normal operator workplace does not need any alarm license. Some add-on must be installed here...
Spurious license errors may indicate network problems (license system will warn if no connection can be made with the license service).
-> Check RNRP log(s) for evidence of network issues.
Also licensing is using the HTTP protocol; a bad proxy setting may prevent connection with the central licensing server. Do not use proxy, or configure proper exclusions.
I also suggest to enable "Dump on Exception" below Diagnostics in the Configuration Wizard (press and hold ALT-SHIFT to unlock this setting) and try reproducing the crash. After collecting two or three crashdumps, disable the dump on exception, collect, ZIP and make the dumps available to the regional ABB support center when you ask them to open up an investigation.
