Is it possible to create an 'Input Property' in a Faceplate Element PG2 to be writable by a Faceplate PG2 button?
The application would be to a Faceplate PG2 button directly writes a value to the Faceplate Element PG2 by using, for example, the resource of 'Input Properties'. However, such Input Property should be available externally as the Object property.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Simple Answer ... No.
The "Input Properties" of a graphic element are only available to the PG2 graphics editor. You cant access them externally in a Faceplate for example.
You could ( in theory ) write from the Faceplate Button to any Property of the Object, such as a General Properties Aspect and then read this property back into the PG2 Faceplete Element graphic. However, this solution will break if you are using an object type because General Properties aspects become Readonly when they are instatiated.
The simplest answer is probably to put a Button element onto the Faceplate Element.
