How I can download to ABB AC800M?
How can I download from my computer to ABB AC800? I am using Compact Control Builder V5.0.1. Do I have to use TK212A cable or I can use ethernet ?
I tried TK212A, but I couldn't update Firmware. I couldn't connect to the PLC. Is there any specific thing that I need to take care of?
Thanks a million guys.

TK212A cable is used for upgrading the firmware. If you are using the controller for the first time, you have to reset the controller. Try resetting it by using the Init button on the controller. After doing so, set the IP of the controller using the TK212A cable. The controller boots by itself. Remove the TK212A cable and try pinging by using the ethernet cable.
If you are using a redundant controller, ensure that only one controller is powered on during this process. It is suggested that you do the upper controller first and then the lower controller. Try avoiding the switch and directly plug into the controller.
Before downloading controller ensure that controller is reachable means pinging from your system. If not kindly check the network if network Ok check the subnetmask & check the Ip config of the controller.
You have to upgrade the firmware using TK212 cable to Com4 with no network cable (CN1,CN2) not connected & after upgrading the firmware set the IP address & then try down load the controller
