Can anyone give an overview of ABB PLCs or refers me to a link which does that. Thanks
I am completely new to ABB PLCs. I was wondering if you can give a brief overview of different PLCs and the difference between them and how to chose among them.
A link with these information would also appreciated.
Thanks in advance

ABB's Controller ange is very broad, and the choice depends on the size and type of project that you want to use the controllers for.
System 800xA is a full size "DCS" for large autmation projects like refineries, paper mills, power plants. System 800xA also integrates all of ABB's legacy DCS products like MOD, Advant, Bailey etc into a modern HMI. Think of it like a large integrated DCS.
Compact Product Suite is a very cut down version of 800xA for smaller projects. It requires a lot more engineering, but is very cost competitive. Think of it like a smaller distributed PLC system with a separate SCADA
Freelance is aimed more towards mid sized projects but can scale up or down quite easily.
AC500 is a standalone PLC range aimed at machine and substation automation. It is very cost effective.
However, you can quite easily use ANY product range on any project size. These product ranges are very very flexible.
