Larm from Opcda_Conector
One customer has the system 5.1 with several Opcda_Connector visible in the Service Connection Status.
One Opcda connector is named Opcda_Connector_PH1152, it communicates with Modbus and go a different route ie via the factory network, office network and wireless networks.
This goes down for about one second to then be ok again, the problem is that it generates an alarm to the system alarm list each time.
Is there a way to delay the alarm from Opcda_Connector_PH1152? or to completely block it.
Regards / anders
No. Yes (maybe)
No: The Alarm Expressions on service group and provider level will fire when the service group / provider report an abnormal S_STATUS (which they will if the OPC DA server does not report "OPC_STATUS_RUNNING" on the periodic check which is made every 5th second)
Yes (maybe): All alarms in 800xA can be:
a) Hidden with Alarm Hiding (included in base system)
b) Shelved with Alarm Shelving (separate license is required)
c) Grouped with Alarm Grouping (feature pack release required)
