Alarm band and orange cross
Hi everyone,
I crate a system 800xA RevD. Although OPC is connected, there are orange cross over alarm bands. All service status green. OPCDA service green PRIASCS and SECASCS also. I reset alarm manager service. But is didnt work. I connected OPC server 'Data Acces' and 'Alarm&Event'. What should I do to adjust this situation.

Hi,
If there is an orange cross or border occuring in the alarm band then the Event collector group has fallen. Might be the Event collector group to be in offline / bad state.
The Event Collector service require the OPC AE server in regard to expose OPC_STATUS_RUNNING which most OPC servers only expose if all is OK.
Check Event Collector service using System Status Viewer (not Service Connection viewer)
Check OPC AE server
Try restarting your Event collector before restarting the alarm manager.

Since you have restarted the Alarm Manager the known problem with "connected, but no subscription active" problem should not be the case (search AKS for this issue).
The only other thing that remains would be if there is an Event Collector service group with no service providers, or with service providers where you have not (yet) chosen what OPC AE server to connect to.
Such collector groups and providers are "green" but there is no connection. There is a small indication on the Event Collector Service Status Object saying "Not configured".
1) Ensure all Event Collector service groups have at least one service provider
2) Ensure Special Configuration on the service group has been configured with an OPC AE server to connect to.
This can also happen if you connect the Alarm Band aspect to an Event list that has no Alarms in it. You cant count the number of "Active Alarms" in an Event List.
