Alarm And Events Log Configuration
I have configured the process alarm list to visible in the workplace structure, i want to know is there any way to create a log configuration for the process alarms. Is there any log configuration for the alarms in default. My clients are asking about the alarm history like how many days of alarm and events will be stored.Please help in this. My main concern is to create a log configuration for the alarm and events,so that i can store the events.

There is no alarm history. Don't seek this functionality. An alarm is totally gone when it has returned to normal and been acknowledged. This is fully natural.
Do not turn on Make new alarm each time a condition gets active. It only risk to blow the alarm manager's budget.
Instead, you should filter for events!
Every alarm going active and inactive will create an event. You can also top up with additional events, eg when an alarm is acknowledged, enabled, disabled, hidden, shelved, etc.
The base system stores 10.000 events per event category. This storage can be increased up to 50.000 events per category. This is documented in the users guides.
Then you can add a dedicated historian like an IM which permit storage up to 12 million events (shared by the categories you select to store there)
In the newly released 6.1.1 version the base system has got a new service that permit storage of several millions of events with no need for any external historian nor license.
