AC800M Controller with redundancy first time configuration.
I am using AC800M Controller PM858 with BC820 and CI854. The same configuration also used for the Redundant controller.
There is 2 panel for 2 controllers, one is for primary and another is for Redundant.
One Ethernet cable with crossover configuration and optical cable connected in between 2 BC820 of 2 different panels.
TK857 cable connected between controller and BC820.
At first, given power supply to Primary controller panel and also given power supply to Redundant controller panel except for the controller power supply itself. Disconnected to the controller supply terminal.
Now connected TK212 cable to the primary controller COM4 port and selected "IPConfig" at Utilities option. then after clicking the "Connect" button and at the same time pressing the "INIT" button until the Run indication was blinking. Then given primary Ethernet IP address 172.16.15.35, primary Ethernet Subnet mask 255.255.252.0, and Toolport interface IP address came automatically 192.168.255.254 but it is changed to 0.0.0.0 after selecting "Advance Mode" in the settings option. then also selected "Set Backup IP address" where the IP address and Subnet mask were the same as the primary controller and then selected ethernet1 for CN1 port for the redundant controller. Then after clicking the store button all the processes completed. During the process, the Auto Detect option was by default selected. During this process, the primary side BC820 toggle switch was on the "UP" side and the Redundant side BC820 toggle switch was on the "LOW" side.
Connected the PC to the primary controller through CN1 port then downloaded the project and go online to the primary controller and then offline the project. After that, only the primary controller power supply terminal disconnected, and the Redundant controller power supply terminal connected. Then downloaded the project and go online to the Redundant controller and then offline the project.
Now power off on both controller panels. First power on the primary controller and after 1-2 sec Redundant controller power supply also given.
Now in Primary controller R-green light glowing, P-green light glowing, PRIM-amber light glowing, Dual-NIL.
Now in Redundant controller R-NIL, P-green light glowing, PRIM-amber light glowing, Dual-NIL.
Primary controller BC820 R-green light glowing, EPOK-green light glowing, C1-amber light glowing, C2-amber light glowing, RCU-NIL
Redundant controller BC820 R-green light glowing, EPOK-green light glowing, C1-amber light glowing, C2-amber light glowing, RCU-NIL
I have elaborated the question by giving all the information to establish communication between the Primary and Redundancy controller and after this process, I have failed to establish the communication. Now my question is whether this process is correct or there is an easy process to establish communication to Primary and Redundancy controller configuration?
This question has not yet been answered.
