Freelance Operations: Load whole station (Permanent Status)
Long time after commissioning we noticed a not working faceplate (from IDF). Faceplate flashes for a moment, but didn't stay open.
So I checked the picture (FGR).
After that I loaded the station (incremental). Same issue in operations, status in control builder: version error.
So I loaded whole station, but the status is permanent version error.
After that I took a backup and loaded all resources (whole station), status is still the same: version error.
What could I do to fix the issue? Reinstall freelance 2019 or is it possible to check something?
Version error means the controller and Freelance system version mismatch, To equalise Controller firmware need to be match with Freelance system.
For that goto Freelance settings from start menu > Freelance Engineering > Controller firmware update, enter controller IP if redundant controller IP1 for Pri / IP2 for Sec.
before firmware upgrade make sure can ping controller.
After firmware upgraded, perform wholes station download, Controller should comeback into Running Status...
If not I wonder, Get connect your local or regional L3 support center.
And never do this in running plant condition. As controller will stop and cold start.
And also before doing this save all temp changes and export the project in .csv file.
Hope that helps...
I've experienced this kind of behaviour a while ago, when the main hard disk is full (where Freelance Operations stores its configuration data). When loading changes, it seems to give up after some blocks, and the version present on the operator station thus won't match the Freelance Engineering version.
After freeing up some space (mostly old trend archives), a load whole station always did the trick for me.
