Will implementation of shelving affect the capasity of the 800xA system?

We're considering using the shelving function on Gullfaks. As of now they do not have the lisence, so nothing is configured. Gullfaks has both advant and AC800 M controllers. It is a big system, version 6.0-3, with >30000 tags. Cannot find anything in the manuals on how this will affect the system. This is a live system - already installed offshore, so we're not able to do any test in advance. Will installing the license and enable shelving affect the capacity of the 800xA system.

Shelving does not increase the total number of alarms held by the Alarm Manager service, just enables operators to move some of them into a different "storage bin" for a defined period of time or occurrence of an alarm.
