Dear all Abb expert , as per below attached screen PU410 is not getting healthy. Anyone can suggest me why.?
PU410 is not wworkinh if I m connecting it via switch..if I connect it didirectly it works...Please explain why?

The MB300 use a slightly different frame as "normal" TCP/IP Networks. A switch may not cover this. Try a "dumb" switch or just a Hub.

The CI855 and PU410 play by the same Ethernet ruleset (10 Mbit/s, half duplex, RJ45 connector). If the CI855 can exchange traffic with the controllers over the switch, so should the PU410.
I cannot see any engineering station on this network? Is it directly connected to the AC410 via its front serial port?
On the engineering station there may be expert commands available (I cannot recall from the top of my head if "TP02.CT" is available there; it is in all HMI related RTAs) with which you can query the MB300 network for list of visible nodes.
* LOCPSET CMDS:TP02.CT
* LNET 11
* LNET 21
etc
Look how the AC410 list each other with non-zero numbers at the row / column corresponding to their MB300 node numbers. The CI855 and PU410 should appear in the same manner, if they are properly connected. Previously known, but now down nodes are marked with zeros.
All HMIs from ABB (MasterView 800, Advant Station 500 and 800xA for Advant Master) have "MB300 Network Status" displays; I suggest using them for fault tracing your network.
A common problem when new nodes cannot connect is if the MB300E (Extended) protocol is in use; this need to be set equally on all nodes connected to the same MB300 control network.
The Hirschmann Star Coupler was great hardware with excellent performance and reliability, but now End Of Life and based on obsolete "hub" technology. Why not replace it with a modern Ethernet switch?
You can also replace the old CS513 AUI based MB300 cards with the more modern CS513A variant having RJ45 connector giving the solid controllers a range of new years in service before you replace them as well.

Per the 800xA networking manual (3BSE034463) switches must allow free multicasting to run MB300. Any multicasting limiter functions must be disabled. Look for features such as "IGMP Snooping" or "IGMP Aging" - these must be turned off. In my plant we have Cisco switches and those IGMP features are enabled by default - so PU410 won't connect until we configure the switch properly. Hope this helps!

Dear all
In previous architecture I was not using crossover Ethernet cable. Due to which I was not able to communicate CI855 via switch. After troubleshoot both CI 855 was getting communicate with MB300 network..
Kindly suggest if I will use crossover cable from switch to pu410 it will work or not..
