redundant network port B in CP800
How to configure redundant network port B in CP800 ?
Answers
Hi,
Follow the steps mentioned in the CP800 latest firmware manual.
To make it simple, connect using serial cable (Tera term) and just remove/update the port A ip and come out. Again change\update the ip address of both the ports together at the same time and come out.

Hi, the short answer is you cannot.
Both network port (A/B) on PN800 devices are identical with respect to IP and MAC address, backup CP800 will get IP address N+1.
So if you have already configured the CP800 according to 2VAA001586 chapter 10 successfully, you then have configured PN800 port A & B.

Dear CP800s PN800 Port A & Port B uses PRP Protocol that internally acts a single network interface, so you dont need to worry about the other Port.
In the Redundant Configuration the only point you need to take care is os SW2 POLE 3 that should be ON, this will automatically create Network Redundancy.
Please share the CP800 Firmware and your IP Range
Also Note that you cant keep your Node address as 0.
