800xa how to display recipe value onscreen
- The"Normal" way which is to use the Batch Manager Scheduler. ie the Pop-Up window driven by the Batch Server. I'm guessing you don't like the look and feel of this and want something simpler.
- The Excel Based Recipe Manager and Batch Scheduler.
Personally, I find the Excel Based Scheduler much better to use for simple recipes and batch procedures. The result is a *MUCH* simpler and better integrated interface that does look like just like you are selecting a Batch ID and a Recipe through operator tags on the HMI. There's a little more work required in the background and the Excel scheduler struggles with Complex Recipes and Procedures. But outside of Complicated Pharma and GAMP environments, it is perfectly adequate and operators seem to prefer it. Its ideal for Biotech or Food and beverage environments where the recipes change but the procedures are pretty much fixed.
The Excel based Recipe Manager is described in the Batch manager guide. The section is a little short on detail - so you'll experiment a bit to find out how it really works.
