How to use GROUP control modules to control a logic in Minerals Library System 800xA ?
As you know, in System 800xA Minerals library, you can start and stop several Drivers e.g. MOT1, VAL1,.. via a GROUP control module,
and it is performed via a Step number that is specific for every Driver, so every driver sequentially starts and stops respectively,
But this is my question,
I want to use a value (e.g. third step) of this step number to trigger and control a Boolean logic, and not for control a Driver such as motor or valve,
How to do it?
How can i implement Group Step number to use not only for Drivers, but for trigger a logic e.g. for an input to an AND function.
Hello, you can use the Control Module called GroupStep from Minerals Library and assign any condition for "RUN" and another for "OFF" and those conditions will satisfy the step according to the actions manipulated as glue logic. Please find an example below:
Remarks: According to Minerals Lib version you can not have access to GroupStep Control Module, then you can use StepOneGroup Function Block instead.
