Is there a configuration guide for McAfee EndPoint Security?
Since McAfee indicates that Virus Scan Enterprise is obsolete I am trying to use McAfee Endpoint Security on an 800xa 6.1 system, however, I cannot find any guide to properly configure Endpoint Security.
Is there a guide created by ABB for MES configuration?

Hi,
latest Daily Verification docs i have from ABB say yes - tested to McaFee Endpoint 10.7, ESP 10.7.0.2000, Threat Prevention 10.7.0.2067 on 800xA 6.0.3.3.
I accidentally loaded Endpoint with threat prevention (Agent error) onto several systems (800xA SV 5.1) this week, and i had no issues.
The document you want is 2PAA121085_B_McaFee_ePO...... This doc then refers to 2PAA121027
I am going to be testing on SV5.1 from January.
regards
dave

No. As someone hinted, 6.1.1 will arrive during 2021 with among other things support for Microsoft 2019 operating systems and McAfee EndPoint Security.
Without giving any formal consent to deviate from published & official procedures, I believe the existing McAfee VSE guideline can be "somewhat mapped" onto McAfee Endpoint Security in terms of what should be exempted from the on access scanning (the protection mechanism that tend to drain most system resources if not correctly configured).
I also welcome you to contact your regional ABB sales representative regarding this shortcoming of the present System 800xA offering.
