Non english characters in 800xa Faceplate description
We are using 800xA 6.1 in english, without any language package.
Is it allowed to put non english characters in objects description? Is it possible to use them in texts in a PG2 Graphic Display?
The characters are the following: á, é, í, ó, ú

Yes, I believe so. I guess you can have whatever you can put there including Unicode letters. I.e. Cyrillic, Chinese, etc. should be possible using correct tools (=input locales and keyboard maps).
On the contrary, object names may have restrictions (based on the tool used to download / upload them). Leave object names "as is".
Description is in most cases a static string known only by the Aspect Directory (though some connects may "upload" a description from the PLC).
