AC800 IP address error
Hi guys,
We have a problem with redundant AC800M HI PM865 controller IP address (800xA v5.1 revE). So, when we assign an IP address to the primary controller (172.16.20.62) and later to secondary controller, application is downloaded and everything works fine. But when we power-off and power-on the controllers (with SB822 batteries connected), the IP address is changed to 172.16.4.62, and we again have to perform an IP config procedure.
Does anybody know the problem solution?

Hello,
Ip Address for redundant controller should be configured using IP Configuration tool, in the case of redundant CPU, i suggest to use automatic IP address (that is an option in IP configuration tool), so in this way, in case a failure Secondary CPU copy the same Ip Adress of the primary.
another tip is that when yo change IP address to redundant CPU system, you should power down the secondary CPU, and then change really in the primary CPU only.
after you change you can, restart de second one. it takes the IP address in automatic mode.
