DI810 Digital Input Module
Dear all We have a totalize controller with pulse output(1pulse/t), is it possible to connect this signal to DI810? the connection is only one pin from the controller side, as in the document they mention (the output is photo-coupler open-collector) please see attached picture. and also can we use this signal for totalizing in AC800M?. our belt rate 0.3t/s.
Kind regards

Hi,
If your belt rate is 0.3 t/s you will have 1 pulse at approx. every 3 sec (or 0.33 Hz).
Without to have official specification of DI810, I think you can use it to count the pulses in such case. I used such module for counting of even faster pulses (about 2 Hz).
I suppose your DI810 is connected as direct by using of Modulebus
You have to check (and adjust/decrease) the task time of your application, Modulebus Scan Cycle Time and filter time for DI's channel.
About the connection: data pin (+) to your DI's channel, and GND to module's L-
