How to restore primary aspect server with secondary server image backup?
Voted best answer
You can't.
If you loose the primary aspect server, your secondary will become your new "primary". Add CLS role and then you are set.
Loading an image of another server might work if hardware is equivalent, rename computer, change IP address, join to domain/workgroup, remove OperateITData/Temp folders, run System Software User Settings from classic Configuration Wizard and use "Connect Node" from Config Wizard or Node Administration Structure > Node object.
What version?
Pre 6.0 is more easy since you do not need to heed the rules enforced by the System Installer.
Starting with 6.0 you must follow procedure. Read up in the maintenance chapters of System 800xA.

Read about "Replace Node", a very powerful function if used correctly (you MUST have a freshly installed computer, or an image of a freshly installed computer).
Restoring the secondary aspect server, restores the secondary server. E.g the Central Licensing Server (CLS) will go lost.
CLS role can be moved in 6.0+ if the lost server is "Remove Server" from SCC; then the CLS role can be set on another server.
How bad is the primary aspect server's state?
There can be many degrees of trouble stretching from "server went up in smoke" to "OperateITData folder" lost on D: drive?
