Profinet connection S7-400 <-> AC800M using PN/PN Coupler
Hi!
The S7-400 is connected to the X1 side of the PN/PN Coupler.
The AC800M/CI871 is connected to the X2 side of the PN/PN Coupler.
Does anyone know if the S7-400 in it's project should configure both X1 and X2 side of the PN/PN Coupler?
Or is the X2 side configuration downloaded from the AC800M controller?
I have in the AC800M controller setup the X2 side and downloaded the station name and IP address.
Everything looks alright at the AC800M side but all values are zero.
At the PN/PN Coupler the red error led is flashing at the X1 side. This must of courserprobably be fixed before we can get it running

Red light means
-the device has no configuration, the profinet device name is incorrect, or no connection with the profinet controller.
Configure bus end separately.web interface provides the status of configuration.
Both sides should have same module(2bytes out to 2by in)

Have you checked AC800M web server? There you can find devices connected to CI871 (Name, MAC and IP Address)
