FDT permissions in 800xA
I'm starting to study the user permissions in 800xA.
Could someone please tell me the relevance of the FDT permissions (FDT-Configure, FDT-Maintain, FDT-Observe, and FDT-Operate)?
I denied the operator the "FDT-Operate" permission but he could still operate the process.
Thanks
Yaki

Arguably FDT roles are not for process control but for asset management and maintenance.
FDT standard define user roles with certain privileges. Operator role has restricted to observe the process.
Genarally 800xA user roles are converted or mapped to FDT roles. As you mentioned in your case operator " still operate the process .." i suspect either user roles are not properly mapped ( mapping is done on user role bindings) or you need to check the security definition

I believe FDT is for Field Devices, you need to work with Operate and Operator Configure
