Pin Out Connector of PM510 Service Port for AC460 /Hyperterminal
Good afternoon, I have gotten the information from technical description , to connect to service maintanance port of PM510 ( AC460) to do specific task regarding to fix an issue about time/date.
We have connected through hyperterminal at 19200 baud rate , none parity , stop bit 1 , data bit 1 , and flow control xon/xoff
We are using the hyperterminal and from settings we are using from emulation ( default mode) : auto detect ( not VT100),
We built the cable as follow:
Female PC side 2 male PM510 3
Female PC side 3 male PM510 4
Female PC side 5 male PM510 5 ( ground) , according to 3BUA003381 manual
Because I have not gotten the communication so far I am trying to follow a troubleshooting procedure to try to fix the problem. we have tested the health of the cable through specific fluke for that and it passed OK.
We have done at least 4 test but it has not been possible so far
I have tried to verify the pin out of the female connector of PM510 maintanance port but I have not gotten the information
Do you have any any information about it ?
Thanks for your support
Best Regards
Ricardo

Pin connection is correct
AC460 (3,4,5) to PC (2,3,5)
Communication settings :
Speed (baud): 19200 Data bits: 8 Stop bits: 1 Parity: None Flow Control: None
IMPORTANT:
During the PuTTY session you are connected to an AC460 Controller which is connected to a live running Process. After you are done with the PuTTY session, make sure that you enter EX to exit PuTTY. After entering EX, make sure that PuTTY returns to the next line. Then Close out of the PuTTY window by clicking on the red “X” in the top right of the window. Then select OK.
DO NOT EVER leave PuTTY running!
